Standard vs ELITE Sanlaki Gunstock

Sanlaki gunstock: Standard vs Elite

In this blog, I'm going to compare the Standard gunstock to the ELITE gunstock to help you decide which one is best for you!

The Elite Gunstock is basically an upgraded version of the Standard gunstock.

It comes with:

  • Adjustable buttstock
  • Adjustable cheek rest
  • Rotational blocker
  • Upgraded reload hand mount.

The nice thing about the Sanlaki gunstock is that it is modular so you can easily upgrade from the Standard version to the Elite version if you'd like!

ADJUSTABLE BUTTSTOCK

The standard version comes with a fixed length which is ideal for players below 6 foot. Taller players can extend the length by using the longer metal pipe front or by requesting a custom made longer buttstock

This works for the most part since Contractors and Onward allows you to calibrate your physical gunstock.

If you're a casual player who wants to have something that just works without any fuss then, you can't get wrong with the standard version.

On the other hand, if you want more control and don't mind spending extra time optimizing and matching your physical gunstock to your in-game weapons then the Elite gunstock is for you!

It comes with an adjustable buttstock and Adjustable cheek rest.
The cheek rest allows you to have four points of contact for an added layer of immersion. It also improves your aim by giving you an extra physical point of reference when developing muscle memory. It's ideal for long range weapons like snipers and rifles but also works well when using SMGs.

ROTATIONAL BLOCKER

The standard version has an open mount design which makes it a lot easier to mount your controllers.

This works well with Contractors, so if you mostly play that game then this standard version is a great choice! This is currently our best seller and has hundreds of 5 star reviews on Etsy from actual players around the world!

If you play Onward all the time then the ELITE is the better option for you.

Onward changed the gun mechanics when they added the gunstock calibration feature. Before, your aim stays the same when you rotate your forehand but now, your aim moves when you rotate your hand.

This is problematic when developing muscle memory because your aim is not consistent when you aim down the sight.

The rotational blocker piece is the solution for that. It makes your aim more consistent every time you aim down the sight.

The Elite version comes with it by default. It also comes with upgraded reload hand mount that has stronger magnets and it has ridges on the sides that further help prevent rotation.

The Elite also comes with the dual magnet version that allows you to hold the gunstock vertically and horizontally.

CONCLUSION

Overall, the gunstock version that works best is different from player to player.

If you're looking for the best bang for your buck and mostly play Contractors, then I recommend getting the standard version.

If you want the best of the best and want more control over your physical gunstock and you play Onward most of the time, then the ELITE gunstock is the way to go.

The nice thing about the Sanlaki Gunstock design is that it's modular. So you can always upgrade the standard version to the ELITE version.
