Do not buy cheap knockoffs on Aliexpress or eBay

Hi Everyone, Lerrick here from Sanlaki. In this blog, I’m going to go over reasons why you should not buy cheap knockoffs on Aliexpress or eBay. A lot of people had the unfortunate experience of unknowingly purchasing a cheap knockoff and had a terrible experience. So I made this video to help others avoid making the same mistake.

1. Cheap knockoffs took out the main selling point of my design.

They removed the ability to mount easily anywhere on the metal pipe front. They use magnets as mounting points instead of metal pipe. Our original design allows you to mount closer for SMGs and farther for rifles and snipers. Meaning, you don’t need to adjust your physical gunstock everytime you change loadout. Also, our gunstock comes with 2 different magnet strengths so you don’t accidentally unmount the wrong controller when reloading.

2. You get what you pay for. They are cheap for a reason!

If you look at other magnetic gunstocks in the market, you’ll see that our original Sanlaki gunstock is actually priced competitively low. This is also why we never really do any sales or promotions because we are already selling them at the best price that makes sense for both our customers and our business.

Also, not a lot of people are aware of this but 3D printing takes a loooong time.  To give you an idea, it takes around 30 to 40+ hours to create a single rifle gunstock and 3D printers don’t always work as expected and when we get failed prints - we lose all of that time and materials.

If you want to save more money you can DIY our designs using the 3D files I shared for free on Thingiverse if you have access to a 3D printer.

3. If it breaks on you - you will not be able to get replacements and you will lose your money.

There have been a lot of reports of cheap knockoffs breaking easily after a few days of playtime and that’s one of the main reasons I made this video - to warn others.

Under normal circumstances, our gunstock should be able to withstand this much damage. However, sometimes we get bad quality filaments and prints and it’s very difficult to check. So, I offer free replacements for any defective parts so you have peace of mind. We try our very best to accomodate all our customers' needs and you can see that reflect on the feedback we get on our Etsy shop.

4. Cheap knockoffs are most likely the outdated version of my designs.

As you may know, I’m constantly improving the design based on user feedback and I make sure customers get the latest version available. When we update new parts, our customers are all eligible to receive those updated parts for free, just cover shipping!
